TEHRAN (IQNA) – Some try to limit the Quran’s guidance to a certain field whereas there are diverse aspects of guidance seen in this divine book.

Holy Quran

The Quran’s guidance is not limited to a certain field of human life but covers all aspects of life. In other words, it is not the case that the Quran guides man in one area of his life and his needs and provides him with no answers and no guidance in other areas.

The Quran has dominance in all areas of humans’ life and needs, from one’s spiritual growth and perfection, which is the highest need, to the issue of running human societies, upholding justice, management conducts, repelling various enemies, raising children, etc.

On repelling the enemies, the Quran says: “Repel with that which is most just, and see, the one whom there is enmity between you will be as if he were a loyal guide.” (Verse 34 of Surah Fussilat)

The Holy Book says about family: “They pray, ‘Lord, let our spouses and children be the delight of our eyes and ourselves examples for the pious ones.’” (Verse 74 of Surah Al-Furqan) And: “Marry those among you who are spouseless and the virtuous among your male and female slaves (thereby freeing them), if they are poor, Allah will enrich them of His bounty; Allah is Embracing, Knowing.” (Verse 32 of Surah An-Nur)

And regarding spiritual peace, which is among the main needs of every human being, the Quran says: “Allah sent down His tranquility on His Messenger and the believers.” (Verse 26 of Surah Al-Fath)

The Quran urges seeking knowledge and knowing the nature. It also has recommendations about one’s personal behaviors: “Do not scornfully turn your face away from people. Do not walk around puffed-up with pride; God does not love arrogant and boastful people. Be moderate in your walking and your talking. The most unpleasant sound is the braying of donkeys.” (Verses 18-19 of Surah Luqman)

So on issues like this, which include all aspects of life, the Quran offers lessons and guidance. That is to say, the Quran covers all areas of human life and has guidance and lessons for all aspects of his life.

How negligent are some people who think the Quran has nothing to say about issues of life, politics, economy, governance, etc. No it is not like that because a major part of the Quran is about these verse issues in life.
